Who We Are.
Trusty Family Care Services provides care plans and assessments for clients with ongoing support if conditions worsen with additional information about care options when needed. The scope of support can include all geriatric branches of needs from helping find legal counsel to end of life decisions.
We hope to make you feel comfortable and informed about your appointments. We welcome all questions from you and your family. We do not provide a diagnosis only a report of the scores and assessments.
Results are provided to the patient’s primary care physician if referred by one to us and can be documented in their medical records. We will send the report to the Medical POA, if desired.

ASSESSMENTS
We do not provide a diagnosis. We do provide an evidence-based report to patients and their primary care physician. If additional testing is recommended, your primary care physician will be notified.
OngoIng Care Consultations
We will contact you or your family 3-6 months after your visit to see how you are doing. Care Consultations are for patients or their family and may be scheduled to take place in person or by phone.
Eduacation & Advocacy
Our team takes a holistic approach to the care and well being of your family member. In addition to care planning, we are happy to make recommendations for at home adjustments, in home health care, placement services, attorney and legal needs and serve as a resource for family members during crisis planning.

Most seniors prefer to stay in their own homes. Our services promote dignity and independence to individuals to enable them to live in their home with assistance. Our caregivers provide the necessary care where it’s needed most to maintain daily routines and do some of the things they have enjoyed in the past with a little help.
Respite care
Family caregiving is a big commitment, and often takes an emotional and physical toll on the whole family. Sometimes family members need to take a break from their caregiver role to address their own personal needs. Respite care (short term care) is available for families who need just a few hours or few days to recharge and return with a fresh perspective.

transition care
If you are being discharged home from a facility, we can make your transition less stressful. We’ll assist you to return safely to the setting you call home.

Chad Trusty, owner of Trusty Family Care Services, previously operated a local, national franchise focused on in-home care services. As part owner for over 12 years he was able to establish a very successful franchise based on customer service and compassion.
joy ramsey
joy ramsey is a Senior Care Manager, CRPS, with over 12 years of experience earning the valued reputation as the “go-to person” in eldercare placement management. Joy is the only Senior Care Manager in the Mid-South that is Certified Referral Placement Specialist. Joy as the ability to help determine the level of care needed, match it with a senior community that can provide that precise level of care, and keep it within the boundaries of the family’s finances. Prior to joining Trusty Family Care Services, Joy had served as a Senior Care Manager for Eldercare Attorney, was on staff at an Alzheimer’s Special Care Center and worked with a national placement agency, both as Senior Care Coordinator working directly with families and Memphis-area hospitals, rehabs and senior care communities.
